WHAT!? Over Seven Feet of Snow In Less Than Seventy-Two Hours!!
Will Wonders Never Cease
“Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” Luke 21:10-11
The state had to go through and manually unbury every vehicle that was trapped on the highways, one person was found dead in his car, and a high school basketball team was stuck on their bus for over 17 hours. There were major roof collapses for buildings with flat roofs, trailer parks evacuated because of buckling roofs, carports caving in, metal storage buildings and warehouses collapsing. Twelve deaths were reported.Feb 5, 2015 – From Thursday, November 20-23, 2014 Buffalo, NY got 88” (over 7 feet) of snow in 3 days, considering they usually get an average of 94” total snowfall a year, this is no small matter. Long time residents of Buffalo said they’ve never seen so much snow in such a small amount of time. Buffalo got more than 6 feet of snow in the first 24 hours, which is a record. The snow was so thick and heavy that at 4 feet it was too much to try to shovel and even the plows were getting bogged down. The highway superintendent called the rate of snowfall “unbelievable.”
The last time a storm this huge hit was in December 2001, when 80 to 90 inches of snow fell on the region in a five-day period, and even that doesn’t really compare since this past storm was 88” in 3 days. We can expect to see many more “signs and wonders” in these last days.
