To Impose Its Will Upon the Whole Earth
The Antichrist conspiracy at the Tower of Babel is the foundation of all subsequent Antichrist conspiracies down through the ages. From its inception the essence of the Antichrist spirit has been to usurp God’s position as ruler of the earth in order to impose its will upon the World.
After the Flood, God commanded man to scatter over the face of the earth and to replenish it. Nimrod convinced the people that this was a ploy of God’s to keep Man weak and at His mercy. Seduced by Nimrod, the people fell for Nimrod’s lies about God. “And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”
He and his father Cush summoned up from the other side of the Flood their own religion. Their false God was Nimrod, his religion one of self-destiny. He fabricated the horoscope of the stars which he had developed from the teachings of Cush who was the son of Ham, one of the three sons of Noah. At the top of this astrological occult Nimrod installed himself as master and lord of Man’s destiny. They had come together to a central place under his leadership, rejecting God’s command to scatter about the earth and replenish it. This Nimrod accomplished through his antichrist personality, his insight and strength, his military genius, preaching, and an inglorious charisma, the basic foundation for all Antichrist rebellions to come. The people grew determined to make a name for themselves, a name that would free them from God’s guidance. The first part of Nimrod’s revolt required that the people come together to fall under his spell and oppression so that he could get them to throw off God and his leadership. They were convinced that under Nimrod’s lordship they could take control of the earth for themselves and cast God off. The price they paid was their liberty and they became enslaved to Nimrod’s tyrannous chains and the harshness of his whip.
Nimrod stands as the archetype Antichrist. His prime objective was to make himself out to be the all mighty God of this earth, usurping our Maker Himself. All Antichrists and Antichrist conspiracies have all or some of the original Nimrodian elements of usurping the throne of God.
He and his family became the first artificial trinity vying with God for power over the earth. Nimrod declared himself the undisputed sovereign, savior and authority over his subjects. Herein lies the heart of the Antichrist rebellion – to usurp the authority and power of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The Greek and Roman mythologies are triads after Nimrod’s pattern. Nimrod was the supreme one, his wife Semiramis was mother of God. Their child Tammuz was supposedly the one who would bring mankind to the deity and savior of mankind. This was inspired by the fallen angels and wicked spirits as counters to the true Son of God of whom it had been prophesied would come in God’s due time.
In Nimrod we discover the root and fountain of all Antichrist conspiracies wherever they have spread throughout the world, by whatever religion, or in whatever age. Nimrod is the legendary one, the fashioner and builder of the Tower of Babel and the one responsible for God deciding to disperse the people throughout the earth. Ever since the dispersal the Antichrist spirit has been hell-bent on bringing Mankind together again in defiance of the God of all Creation. History and Archeology testify to this truth. North American natives, the Toltecs and Aztecs, the Polynesians, Ethiopians, cultures from Asia, Africa, even the Eskimos and aborigines of Australia have stories in their own language about a tower and those who defied the authority and power of the heavens and conspired to cast off the true God of this World. The stories are the same world over. They tell of a human figure larger than life, powerful un-resistable in power who conspired to rally the people against God and to build a tower to ascend to heaven in order to throw off the burden of heavenly authority and to install their invincible leader as head of the world.
Ancient historians commented on Nimrod’s career coming out of the east from where he brought his “nation” to the land of Shinar. The historian Justin, reported (The History of Roman Writings) that Nimrod, “strengthened the greatness of his acquired dominion by continued possession. Having subdued, therefore his neighbors, when, by an accession of forces, being still further strengthened, he went forth against other tribes, and every new victory paved the way for another, he subdued all the peoples of the east.” Trogius Pompeius said of Nimrod that he, “first changed the contented moderation of the ancient manners, and incited by a new passion, the desire of conquest. He was the first who carried on war against his neighbors … as they were yet unacquainted with the arts of war.” All Antichrist conspiracies are conspiracies of warfare and conquest and relentless revolt against the true God.
The unanimous consensus of ancient voices tell of Nimrod as a mighty warrior, the first to enslave and chain men; and in direct opposition, a rebel against God, a perpetrator of that thing God hates, the slavery of men. The first antichrist striving to impose slavery’s lash, chaining the masses to his will by force, through lies and charms, and superhuman exploits. Once in his iron grasp he relegated the people to servile hardships, lurid and immoral loyalties. The people became inured to the toils of deadly servitude. Like dogs fearful of a cruel master they worshipped him for giving them scraps from his table. The elite and his warriors were loyal and for this were given privilege, benefit and wealth. Slavery, warfare and godlessness were the foundation upon which the Tower, which still stands in the Iraqi desert today, was built.
Through the ages the Antichrist continued. Antichrist has tried and tried again as prophesied in the Book of Daniel. The antichrist conspires for nothing short of being not just absolute dictator, but God Himself. Antichrist is a man of war and intrigue, a liar and a deceiver, a maker of his own anti-god religion, an enslaver of man and hater of God, making high and mighty promises of love, salvation and protection to a world that has been brought under his spell by false benevolence, lies and soulish, spiritual deceit. This sums up the historical conspiracy called in the Bible – Antichrist. It has been the regurgitated story of antichrist history repeated over and over again, always asserting its domination, its will upon the whole World, as it shall right up to the end. Now, in this moment, the final Antichrist conspiracy inches nearer and nearer with each passing day, making its violent and final ill-fated attempt to dethrone God on earth. But Jesus is coming.
