Man Crushed to Death by Cross Dedicated to the Newest Saint!
Tragically, the canonization ceremony of the Roman Catholics two newest saints was unimaginably marred by the macabre death of a 21-year-old man. Marco Gusmini, taking a hike near Cevo, Bescia, Italy, was crushed to death when the 30 meter high crucifix, created as a good luck charm for protection, somehow collapsed toppling over on the unsuspecting Gusmini.
The bizarre death stunned not only the unfortunate man’s friends and relatives, but the whole Christian world, especially because it took place, ironically, just three days before John Paul II and John the XXIII were to be conducted into the Roman Catholic and Vatican Hall of Fame by Francis I.
It could not be a simple coincidence that this crucifix honoring John Paul II collapsed just three days before declaring him a saint and taking with it an innocent victim. God does not wish to let stand such presumptuous honors dedicated to a man. There was and will forever be only one man who was crucified to save souls. Should we not believe that this remarkable ‘coincidence’ was allowed by God so that we would be instructed to worship neither men nor idols and that for this reason he stands neither with popes or Catholic religion, and that he duly despises the worship of and the praying to saints. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Tit 2:5
God wants you to pray to him so that you may get to know him. How can it make any sense to pray to something that is made of stone that can topple over or to a man that is dead who can never talk to you or hear your cry or see your tears?
Again, like prophecy’s purpose, we have yet another sign from God who is working day and night to get the attention of the lost and floundering soul. He strives by all the prophecy that is coming to pass to show us the truth about things going on around us, so we may be delivered from false things and turn to the truth, Jesus Christ and be saved.
Revelation 2:18-29 points to this prophecy which is coming to life in this day:
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
According to the Corriere della Sera Daily, Gusmini coincidentally lived with his family on a street named after John XXIII who was to be canonized along with John Paul II on the same day. Coincidence… not.
