Hillary or Trump: The Evil of Two Lessers
Actually, The Same Thing Only Different
Now that the party bickering is done with, and the histrionics of power politics completely unleashed at each party’s national convention, I hope the calmer honest prophetic voices can be recognized by the chair.
It has come to our attention that neither candidate addressed the real issue that is squarely before the public, even if no one is rightly admitting what the issues really are.
For, Mr. Chairman, If I may inquire, is it not the responsibility of the candidates, their speakers and the conventions of each party to address the issues and state their stand on them with clarity?
I freely admit, Mr Chairman, that I could not endure listening to all of the histrionics and contrivances, no matter how moving or inspiring they seemed to be, but I did catch a goodly share of it on TV. But the only thing it clearly declared was that first truth of politics country that I had learned as a freshman political science major – that politics is the art of not telling the truth. For this I tip my cap to both parties for their diligence in advancing, exceedingly well, the art of what the bible calls ‘lying vanities’. I shudder because as God told Jonah, those who observe lying vanities forsake the mercy of God for themselves.
This I got with some degree of horror because I am no novice when it comes to the knowledge of politics and its powerful arts that sway the hearts and minds of its believers – us. The thing I did not get, however, from tuning into the conventions was what a friendly old businessman who I met at the lake this July said to me with a restive groan. “Well sir”, he remarked, “it occurred to me this year that it is not the lesser of two evils for which I have to make a choice, but rather the evil of two lessers.” I laughed and nodded in affirmation of his clever insight, and then replied, “That’s just it, I can’t in good conscience back or vote for an evil. I can’t vote for either one.” I’m not sure what he thought of that response but he got his coffee and I my tea, and we both left it at that.
Mr. Chairman, At this point I would like to introduce into the record the voice of the Bible, which has already been duly entered into the records as a voice of these conventions by people who seem to be using it for nothing but their party’s political advantage. I would like to use it for the author of the Bible’s advantage instead. It has been asserted that this election is summed up by the moral dilemma “the evil of two lessers” – but not so fast. The issue is the faith God wants a person to have considering the political aims of mankind in general, concerning that He informs us in the bible that: “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Dan. 4:17
Mr. Chairman, I submit that it is the basest of human beings who rule over politics, win office, become kings and presidents. To those rank and file people this more than indicates, by way of simple deduction, that there is actually no choice or good candidate. Both will be base, crass, wrong, uncaring, self serving because that’s what they are – and therefore there is no choice between bad or good, but only an expectancy of business as usual; a coin flip for one base thing or the other. I appeal to common sense that there is actually no choice, for the two choices are exactly the same choice, one in a pants suit the other in pants. They both declare “trust me, I am good”; while people vote for one or the other knowing what they truly do is lie.
I further submit Mr. Chairman that there is no choice offered between the two candidates because either candidate will lead the United States into its prophetic destiny, a declared bible destiny which plainly put, is globalization. In political terms this means a world community of nations, where political and economic union is the new united states, arranged as a large industrial system of nations under confederated agreement where all nations share in the laws binding it together. Biblical prophecy has designated this coming new world as a world government, calling it The Ten Kings.
Hillary has made no bones about being a globalist, which is officially defined as: a person who advocates the interpretation or planning of economic and foreign policy in relation to events and developments throughout the world. She takes credit for inventing the term “Global Village”. She wants to be the one credited with fusing the United States economy and nation as just one of the integral parts of the overall megalithic confederacy of international states. That means creating a one world organization and confederated, of which the U.S. would be but a single subject and part.
As for Trump, Mr Chairman, he is of a little different stripe. We can agree, though he may not realize it, that he could be the best person to bring about the transition of The Raiser of Taxes from its demise as last sole empire of the world, to being a top leader and major creator of the global organization of confederated states. Trump being a broker by trade could play a significant part, even without realizing it, of brokering deals with interested nations. The creation of the confederation is certain to be unlike the League of Nations or the UN, both of which were built on governmental institutions, and did not work because they had no binding force. They were impotent of real power to bind nations together with more than just unbinding oaths and votes. The real thing that Trump understands is contracts and economics, that bind parties together by the almighty power of money. Trump has the understanding of international dealings and prides himself as a builder of not only skyscrapers but of organizations, the constructor of contracts binding, of bringing businessmen together with legal power, the one who can forge and organize and use economics to create industrial working networks, one of people and their almighty ruler of money, into a finely crafted machine.
Prophecy tells us there will be three eminent mega states in this global construction of states and nations.(Dan. 7:8) These are likely to be the strongest militarily and economically, like the EU, the USA and China; whoever and whatever the three are likely to be the top organizers and the strongest of the ten component states; it is very likely that the USA will be one of the main organizers, perhaps the preeminent leader. The USA, with the dollar being the international currency, being head of the World Bank and home of the United Nations is the leader already of the globalization movement. If Trump is anything he is a businessman; one who knows how to cut international deals, the one to negotiate things for his advantage. He stated at the beginning of his candidacy that he makes things happen, brings people together, as shown by taking the Republican party; fractured, division ridden, and getting it to follow him. He mobilized half the the country to get behind him instantly by the ingenious slogan “Make America Great Again”. It makes one think, Mr Chairman, if he does not have spirits whispering in his ear? He has managed, by sheer genius and will, to bring the Presidential contest, now but little more than two months away, to where it is a “you pick ‘em” in Vegas.
Hillary wants to continue her quest to make the US a leader, the president of the league of nations which can be forged into her visionary hope of a Global Village. Trump wants to make trade deals, open the economy to world markets, make better military alliances with any nation he can. To cut deals and build a new Tower of Babel.
Either way, the days are coming when the bible’s prophecies about an international Ten Kings Empire serving as the throne for a single dictator at its head, Hitler-like, mandating and controlling everything from economy to what people may think and believe, seem to have a very good chance of being advanced by the 2016 election. No matter which evil of the lesser gets in.
This means it is not what was blithely spoken by my friend, but rather, I’m getting the sense that it is an inevitability of bible prophecy which is coming into play this election year. It is not that we have the choice of the evil of two lessers. If I may be allowed to quote the Rolling Stones: “it is that they are both the same thing – only different”. They are what I thought they were and there is no choice; Hillary and Trump are just taking a different tack to get to the same place. If that’s so that means nobody’s vote will mean a single thing in the end.
